Promoting and propagating local art is what Minehead EYE wants to do. Which is why for our first year we are exhibiting local artists for FREE, yes FREE. We mean what we say – we want help you (whilst filling our blank walls with your beautiful art). We understand that as a young artist you may not have the resources’ to frame your work, pay commission for exhibition OR have enough work to fill an exhibition of your own. So we’ve decided to let you go for it – all we ask is that you help with displaying and clear up.
Along with exhibitions comes OPENING NIGHTS, which we are more than happy to host. They can be TOTALLY FREE or we can supply nibbles for as little as £20.00’s an event – menu’s include Sushi, homemade canopies, chips ‘n’ dips and Pizza’s.
With an inspirational first year of new and nearly new artist leading a hand we will provide a season of thought provoking, community minded and youth lead exhibitions.

Amnesty international celebrate their 50th anniversary this year and we will be housing the West Somerset groups exhibition in the EYE cantina from January the 5th. This exhibiton is an interesting and thought provocing reflection on 50 years of Amnesty. Free Entry.
From February the 1st young local artist Richard Beart showcases his diverse collection of Graffiti , landscape paintings and life drawing. Check out his website here : http://www.richardbeart.co.uk/
