The Minehead EYE team recognize the necessity of overcoming the lack of transportation opportunities for those living in more isolated rural areas if the facility is to be accessible to young people across the District. At present efforts to address this are focusing on the idea of providing a youth bus service, preferably in conjunction with local voluntary and community sector actors. We are currently seeking advice from a number of providers and agencies regarding the most efficient way to provide this service.
There will be a car share noticeboard at Minehead-EYE to encourage regular users to share lifts and reduce the use of cars.
